Founded in 1967 by Maryse and Daniel Beaupied, Benvengudo was built on the grounds of an old vineyard

Chef in the Riboto de Taven in Les Baux (which was awarded one Michelin star thanks to Daniels' culinary talent developed with Paul Bocuse at Fernand Point in Vienna), Daniel undertook the construction of the family Country house. In 1972, Daniel decided to create his own restaurant within the Country house as well as adding guest rooms; Maryse decorated the new rooms with classic Provencal pieces of furniture unearthed by scouring the antique dealers of the area. Today, our Country House offers over 27 rooms, suites and apartments.

The spirit of the Beaupied family reigns since the creation of the Country house where Carole and Sebastien, the two children of Maryse and Daniel, grew up.

Sebastien was on the point of taking on the day-to-day direction of the Inn when he tragically disappeared in 2002. Today it is Carole, and at her side her husband Viktor Puetzer, who fly the family banner and perpetuate the family tradition while Maryse and Daniel enjoy a well-deserved retirement.

Carole's and Viktor's ambition, at the outset of the 21st century, is to maintain in her family house the spirit and atmosphere whereby everyone is welcomed as a special guest and that they feel at home with the sun and the charm of Provence in background, while offering a level of comfort, care and equipment which will satisfy the most discerning guest.

Carole and Viktor's children, Lara and Adrien, are already preparing to take on the challenge in a few years...

Spread out your bilingual receptionist abilities in Provence...

2012 summer season is approaching and we invite you to incorporate Benvengudo team as a receptionist. Being in front of our clients, you are the Hotel face and voice. You manage bookings. You greet and advise our guests. You process check-in and check-outs.

Competences:

• Respond to client mail and email enquiries. 
• Respond to client telephone enquiries.
• Manage reservations in the CRM system. 
• Update CARDEX and write down our clients’ preferences and habits.
• Manage allocations in the online Web Booking Engine.
• Process end of business day administration.
• Reception of guests.
• Process check-in and check-outs.
• Organise excursions.

The position also requires following capabilities:

• Having great interpersonal skills, being able to welcome guests and make them feel at home.
• Adapting to a varied, international group of clients (listening, checking availability...).
• Effectively organising one's work.
• Possessing good oral and visual memory. 
• Executing all tasks with confidence and dexterity.
• Moving in a sometimes reduced and overloaded workspace.
• Working in a team.

Specific competences:

• Read, written and spoken English.
• Oral knowledge of other languages.
• Polyvalent.
