Ever wanted to learn how to cook the Provencal way? During 2009 season, Benvengudo will once again be offering weekend cooking class packages with renowned chef and gastronome, Eric Sapet. Come and learn from a master of traditional Provence cuisine whilst relaxing in the tranquil settings of Les Baux de Provence. This package also includes a visit to a vineyard in nearby Alpilles for wine tasting.

Lessons are conducted in both English and French, and class sizes are kept to an intimate number allowing personal attention and hands on involvement. Activities focus on developing a particular range of dishes from the simplest salads to the preparation of our classic Provencal game or seafood specialities. 

A typical "French Cooking Class Package with Eric Sapet" could include:

• Arrival on Friday evening: dinner at the Hotel Restaurant and Côté Bastide accomodation
• Saturday morning: continental breakfast
• Saturday afternoon: 2 - 4 pm: visit of a vineyard in the Alpilles with our Maitre d'Hotel.
• Saturday afternoon: 4 - 5 pm: afternoon tea time.
• Saturday evening: gastronomic dinner with discovery and tasting of the Alpilles wines at Benvengudo
• Sunday morning: continental breakfast
• Sunday morning: 9am depart to La Petite Maison, Cucuron, then from 10 to 12, cooking class with Eric Sapet. 
• Sunday afternoon: 12 - 3 pm: lunch at La Petite Maison with tasting of Luberon wines.
