Ever wanted to learn how to cook the Provencal way? During 2010 season, Benvengudo will once again be offering Provence cooking classes with renowned chefs from nearby awarded restaurants. Come and learn from masters of traditional Provence cuisine whilst relaxing in the tranquil settings of Les Baux de Provence... This exclusive package also includes a lunch and a visit to a local vineyard for wine tasting.
Class sizes are kept to an intimate number allowing personal attention and hands on involvement. Activities focus on developing a particular range of dishes from the simplest salads to the preparation of our classic Provencal game or seafood specialities.
In a typical "French Cooking Class" you could learn to prepare the following menu:
- Panfried duck foie gras and berries
- Mediterranean Loup de Mer a la Plancha and its delicate Provencal ratatouille
- Pineapple ravioles with a touch of dill and its passionfruit sorbet
Classes will be followed by a convivial lunch around our table d’hôtes in our recently refurbished Orangerie room, accompanied by a few wines carefully selected by our maitre d’hôtel. Aprons, kitchen utensils and recipe cards will be supplied at the start of the class.
After lunch, we will invite you to join us for a cellar visit and a wine tasting in Domaine Dalmeran.

Classes will start at 11.00am and finish at 5.30pm; cost is €89,00 per participant. Please note classes may be cancelled if the minimal number of participants is not met.
