Benvengudo is a charming hotel located in Les Baux de Provence, in the South of France. The property was previously a typical Provence country house and has been lovingly converted to a boutique Provence hotel in Les Baux. In order to improve our sales through online marketing, we are looking for a Trainee in Online Marketing.
Competences:
- Update hotel information on IDS systems (Expedia, Booking, Escapio, Globres, etc.).
- Liaise with IDS partners to increase hotel visibility and promote special offers.
- Apply yield management practices and elaborate last minute offers.
- Write/edit press releases and newsletters.
- Assess potential ways in which social networking (Blogs, etc.) can be used for communications with current users and potential customers.
- Monitor new online distribution channels. Analyze pros and cons, and make recommendations for building partnerships.
- Manage content of hotel website. Review website for accurateness. Translate content.
- Design new packages and special offers.
- Consolidate information for the monthly report on occupancy rates, SEO statistics and web site visits.
The position also requires following capabilities:
- Good understanding of benefits and constraints of current Internet technologies.
- Knowledge in Synxis / Globres / Reservit is an advantage.
- Knowledge in Google Analytics is an advantage.
- Knowledge of a PMS system such as Protel or similar is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English and French.
